Jon Lester. Wow. I really don't even know where to begin with this one. So today for whatever reason my history class proved inspirational once again and I ended up producing a short installation of the Pawtucket Chronicles. I suppose in this instance we have the Pawtucket-and-Iowa Chronicles, though, because this is a little off-season bit in which Jed is hanging out with one of his old college teammates, Sam Fuld. Hmmm, so this is pretty interesting. I just followed the first inning of the PawSox game, and after just one inning Timlin was pulled from the game without any reasonable explanation. He didn't give up any runs (two hits, though; he also struck out one) and only threw 18 pitches, 12 of which were strikes. I guess they're taking this rehabilitation ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's been pretty rough over here. The Sox dropped all three games in Toronto (clearly the fatigue is beginning to set in), and my dearly beloved PawSox have lost their last two.
